Run Devil Run (Rogue/Logan)

Well, hello there. I've finally got around to doing a Rogan video with Sony Vegas, woo! It's actually the first part of a series of six post-X3 vids. Get excited.

Spoilery Premise:

The beginning is a sort of mini-tribute to the professor as a way of explaining his return.

The video itself begins at a Mutant Supremist meeting. Bobby, Kurt, Logan, and (cured) Rogue are there for recon and for the rally leader. The straightfoward mission is complicated when they discover Pyro is there. He sets Rogue on fire. Maybe it's because he's evil, maybe it's because he loves her. Who can tell? /Ryro.

Anyway. The in-trouble montage is what Rogue gets from Logan's mind when he gives her essentially everything he's got, hoping against hope that her mutation will re-emerge. It works, leaving Logan comatose as he so often is and Rogue feeling like a burden as she so often does.

Even though she has her powers back, she still feels useless as an X-Man and can't even defend herself against a Pyro simulation in the Danger Room. On top of that, the new memories she's gotten from Logan are reminding her that it's always been all about Jean Grey. She can't take it.

The Professor catches Rogue as she's leaving and lightly reprimands her for walking out without saying goodbye. He understands, though, that getting out on her own is what she needs most right now. "This is an opportunity," he tells her. "You might find some hope." Rogue telepathically thanks him.
