Create random dots on your ceramic piece with rubbing alcohol. It's a great abstract look for your ceramic projects.

  • @Duncancrafts Any other techniques with glazes and an ez one stroke water color technique would be appreciated. A video on French Dimensions would be great too. We just got some in class and are excited about using it

  • @jcrefasi1 Great to know! We'll plan it out. Thanks for your suggestions.

  • There is a renewed interest in ceramics in our area and very few shops with classes or with experienced ceramic painters as instructors so your videos are wonderful and greatly appreciated! Love the Duncan website.

  • @jcrefasi1 Thanks! If you have any video requests, just let us know! We're always planning the next series!

  • Is there a follow up to this video?

  • @lelier1959 We don't have one planned, but what do you have in mind?

  • I get random dots on mine by avoiding the dishwasher

  • @aqueceramica It's isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). You need to add the drops when the top glize is still wet to get the color to pull apart. Good luck!

  • I liked a lot, but I can´t do it. What kind of alcohol is? Please answer soon

  • @crazygrandchick Yes, we'll start adding the finished piece to the how-tos. Have you tried the technique yet?
