Wow! Bobby's talent was infinite. I'm blown away by this composition. I'll bet he arranged it too. What a find. Thank you.

It is an instrumental piece written by Bobby Darin and performed by him on the harpsichord. It was released as the B-side of the 45 rpm single for the theme song to the movie "Come September", also written by Bobby. I recorded this from my copy of the 45. To my knowledge this piece has never been released on CD.

in mexico it was the B side of "come september" I dont know if they used in the picture, but its a fabulous instrumental as good as the A side
Just one more musical instrument Bobby could play adding to the talent of this amazing man.
Not to mention his own composition, what a man, there seems to be nothing he could not do. wonderful thanks for posting.

With the harpsichord I believe that I'm up to eight on the count of musical instruments that Bobby could play. Depending on who's counting, it's anywhere from five to eight. I think the eight are piano, guitar, drums, vibraphones, harmonica, clarinet, bass and harpsichord.

I didn't know about the clarinet until recently. I was reading David Evanier's biography "Roman Candle", and he says that Bobby played the clarinet in a school band.

Thanks for the addition to the list. I did know about the bongos. He played them very early in his career for a Spanish dancer with whom he had an ill-fated love affair. This points out why there are varying counts of the number of instruments that he played. Some people might be inclined to see the bongos as just a type of drum and count the two as one instrument.
