Pinetop Perkins was born in 1913, the year the Tintanic sank. He was in his prime (in his 20's) in the 1930's , for example. He is a amazing guy. At 97 , he still plays great blues music that he himself wrote, and had a blues festival named after him in his hometown of Belzoni, Mississippi. He just won a Grammy award for his lifetime work.
