  • Would you compare these to Peltor Comtac's?

  • @dybro2

no, these are a level above Peltors

Peltors are good, these are good and comfortable

  • Good unboxing. Where are these made?

  • @ralph08ralph

    USA

  • MSA usually makes garbage products. Low quality. I'm surprised to see them making higher quality ear protection. Not sure I would trust them though... knowing what MSA is usually putting out on the market. Interesting though. thanks for sharing.

Interested to see the products you call 'garbage' made by MSA

  • The only thing I see is cheap packaging, the hearing protection is great from what I hear, it also is water proof compared to some of the Peltors.

They're a decent setup, I've worked on quite a few of MSA headsets and hearing protection over the past few years where I work and for the most part they work well for the price. They come back for repair 90% of the time for one problem and that's the battery compartment. The leaf spring type contact on the back side loses tension and causes the ambient hearing to fail. If they fixed that design flaw they would last many years easily, didn't stop me from buying a set.

  • Can u adapt a mic with PTT on then?

  • @liesje9876

Not really, they are not made to keep out all noise, just the real loud stuff

The kind that really get quiet are usually a bit larger than these
