haha.
Always entertaining to see a poorly educated bloke dribble away his worthless opinion for the sole purpose of antagonizing others.
Also, this loft is an exception, but 99% of the lofts in Colorado Springs are revampted from the formerly unused upper levels of buildings that are often over 100 years old.

man i lived in the springs for 4 years and i loved it

Cool clip Kevin; I've lived in the Springs for 17 years now. I love how downtown has been reborn. Coincidentally, my former law office is now where your loft is! Dan Robertson's done a great job with those.

Hey did you get this soundtrack at the trading post in Garden of the Gods..? lol I swear I heard this before

I freakin love CO. Springs will always be home to me.. I do agree about the jobs or lack there of. Hey Kevin where in TX are you now cause thats where i went lol...... I'll be back in CO next year for sure though I miss it toooooooooooooooo much.. WTF goes on on Platte lmoa GO TO MANITOU SPRINGS
Cardiac, we moved to San Antonio. Not a bad city, but not the same as the Springs. Like you, I have no idea what attraction there is with Platte. LOL
I agree, Manitou Springs is awesome. I'm originally from Seattle, which is a great city in its own right, but I consider the Springs home now.
The soundtrack is some Peruvian music from an old cassette tape my wife had. If they play this at the trading post at Garden of the Gods, that would be quite a coincidence!

@kevinzielenski I am interested in Colorado Springs, I know this is probably about 5yrs old, but I am still intrigued by the small big town surrounded by Mountains. Can you give me more information about the Peruvian music you're playing.

> The music was on an old cassette tape my wife had. I transferred to my PC, but I don't have any info regarding the artist or the songs. I even tried the SoundHound app, but no success.
> I still think Colo Springs is a great medium-sized town, esp. the small downtown area. I'm a fan of Denver, too, but the downtown area there is much less compact and the mountains appear more distant. That's ironic, as Denver is more convenient to most of the popular ski resorts.

Don't be fooled, I live in Colorado Springs and it's a crappy town. No jobs, crappy infracstructure and absolutely no night life. I am glad that kevinzielenski is happy here but if you thinking of moving here get ready for a to be bored for life, unless of course you are religious then you might have fun. Theres a church in every corner and church leaders run this town, just like in Iran.

While the Springs doesn't have the diversity of jobs Denver has, it has an unemployment rate that's better than the nat'l average. It's a visually stunning city, important to some, but not all. Regarding the evangelical churches, they're located in the suburbs of the Springs, while downtown is a bastion of liberalness, isolated as it is. I found downtown to have a lot of cultural activities and some good restaurants. And don't forget all the outdoor activities available.

On the other hand, the suburbs are plain vanilla, and I cannot recommend them above any other generic suburban sprawl. And if you're big on sports, I agree, Denver is the place to be. The highway is a mess right now, with the construction under way on I-25. Once that's finished, access to downtown will be restored. All in all, it's still the place I want to retire. (Seattle used to be my choice, but the high cost of living and rainy winters make the Springs look more and more inviting).
