Don't like how your G25 shifts? Jealous of G27's improved shifter feel? Now you can make your G25 feel just as good, if not better!

  • I am getting my G25 in a couple of days ! cant wait to mod it :D

  • Plz get a supply of the o rings and spacers and sell them on eBay ;) £££££

I can't find or don't even know where to start looking and if I find it I can't check it's the right size without taking it apart :(

  • ANOTHER MOD: Anyone, who wants to silent the shifter, replace the metal ball ( at 2:45 ) with a plastic one. Then apply a lot of grease on it to make it slippery. The shifter will move a lot smoother, but it feels good to me. And its silent. You can find the right plastic balls for example in airsoft guns.

I did this to mine a year ago and its perfect.

  • is it possible to o this with the g27

  • @sorryunlucky

Heck yes - If it it improves it then definitely worth the risk... If everyone thought that way there would be no modified cars etc....

Also I have a G27 but if I had a G25 and I didn't like the way it worked then apart it would come...

Exactly why your parents wouldn't buy you one.

Check the disclaimer, is it worth destroying your favourite toy, just for it to feel that little bit better changing gear? Heck no!

  • can u do it for the g27

  • Very well made instructional video..... If I had a G25, I would be pulling it apart right now ; )

  • @TheWillpeace You know isnot an options game solution,is not like that

cause the wheel didnt give me this problem before and now is different so i tested with another game like GRID and is the same problem,is like inside the wheel or the turn dispositive is making a false contact.

  • @serchmarc If it's while your driving on F1 2011, go onto your wheel options and find the option steering deadzone. I find that having the deadzone on 2-5% will keep the wheel straight, while not making turning difficult
