  • Thank you for uploading this. Jerry Rubin was a fascinating case study of the 1960's counter culture rebellion in American society. It's hard to believe there was a time in this nation's history when a segment of a generation actually challenged the status-quo in such a way as to imagine an entirely different way of living. Schooling in the United States is worse now than it was back in the 1960s. And exactly what Rubin is challenging can still be said today.

  • I don't think that detracts from the message.

  • The drug culture was and is a failure. Gee, I wonder why?

  • Unfortunately, there are few revolutionaries like Jerry Rubin around today...... We need this kind of fire today. Until the status quo is challenged, we will remain in this sinking boat.....

  • No, I believe the phrase is "say your piece". The word "peace" refers to the state prevailing during the absence of war, or a state of harmonious relations. Thanks anyway dummy.

  • Inside out as opposed to outside in, nurtured as opposed to molded, deduced instead of induced, that's how it should be. Since you've waited so patiently to be insulted all I can say is it's say your PEACE, dummy!

  • I give this 5 stars merely for its alternative point of view... boy oh boy do we need more than ever before to honor and study .. incorporate experience.. alternative points of view.. ways of living..

  • I agree essentially. Surely education should be something that facilitates the realization of each individuals unique potential, rather than placing individuals in a mold that serves a societal model.

The basic problem with education, as I see it, is that it is often used to mold minds, rather than nurture them, which is what it should do.

Okay, I've said my piece and I'm ready to be insulted by someone! :-)

  • You're a WHITE NATIONALIST.

You're a reactionary TOOL who hates international Jewry (despite being against Socialism IE no loans on interest) that founded and funds Communism. Despite Communism & Communists philosophically, financially, and even militarily oppossing Israel. Yet it still a tool to bring down the US which is controlled by Zionists who also happen to hate the Communists which they also control.

    Makes perfect sense.

  • Collectivism absolutely does work, as does a centrally planned economy. It's worked EVERYTIME it's been applied dumb dumb. Even the most radical Capitalist country implements during a time of crisis.

As for a heirachy there's hints in your language. Your system is essentially a fraternity that makes heirs based on genetics, rather than a meritocracy.

  • I dont really believe your internet posturing for a second so dont waste time ranting about degrees (how appropriate on a Rubin vid)

Fair trade, just like a fair market. The collaboration of wealth manipulating the market, all it is. What do you want? Some agrarian based fur trading economy. Can't go back 200 years, sorry.
