It's sad that the media grills Palin for criticizing a tastless insult to her daughter and women in general. It's okay if you don't think the joke was in bad taste but leave it there then. Don't hammer someone for sticking up for their family. They're more worked up over her defending her family then she ever got over Letterman's insult. It's pathetic.

@helixscape Those are some clever anagrams, but I would have used some to point out that because David Letterman is so frustrated that he can't give Sarah Palin 'a sharp nail' and 'a rash in lap' that he 'has Iran pal' Jeff Immelt 'plan sharia' law with his muslim friends to punish her.
