This review is of the Sony Ericsson Live View test's with the Galaxy TAB PART 3 OF 3

THE OTHER VIDEOS ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF UPLOAD PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO GET NOTIFIED WHEN THE NEW VIDEOS ARE UP

This is my first review so i'm gonna try my best on providing as much as information and my thoughts as clearly as possible feel free to ask questions and i will try to answer them asap.

My Galaxy TAB is a t-mobile usa branded model and flashed with the JM6 euro Firmware with phone capabilities

This video is in relation to my thread on xda-developers that will be a ongoing review of the tests of the plugins and issues i encounter with the live view and galaxy tab, as well will be flashing different firmwares to see how it effects the performance and issues of the live view.

FROM MY INITIAL TESTS IT SEEMS TO WORK GREAT BUT I ONLY HAVE HAD IT FOR A DAY SO I CAN NOT FULLY RECOMMEND THIS TO A REGULAR CONSUMER SINCE THERE ARE ISSUES WITH CONNECTIVITY THAT UNTIL THE BUGS ARE IRONED OUT SHOULD BE ONLY RECOMMENDED FOR EARLY ADOPTERS AND PEOPLE THAT UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES THAT COME WITH SUCH A NEW TYPE OF DEVICE.

I will also be posting reviews and test on various other devices and will make a video on the procedure on how to flash your U.S. model galaxy tab to a euro firmware to get phone capabilities, i don't take any credit for any of those procedures that can all be found on the xda-developers forum, i just want to help newbies on the proper easy process of flashing your tab to attain these capabilities.

Information on the LiveView can be found on Sony Ericsson's Website

  • how long does the battery last of the liveview?

  • @Roelvvv the battery lasts at least a day, i always charge my devices each night anyway. But i do have about 100 RSS feeds from gizmodo and engadget coming in all the time to it so that does drain the battery but not as much as checking it all the time lol

  • Thanks for the nice review .... why don´t you (super)glue the watch to the frame ?

  • @pt020 if you look at the preview videos i couldn't super glue it because u need to be able to access the usb charging port on the side that is covered by the wrist straps when on the wrist mount, i found another solution by using tape on the opposite side that makes it have a hinge so it won't pop off but can lift up enough to still charge, i'm going to post a video of what i did.
