Pokémon Battle Revolution: Announced Moves, Volume 2

Here is the second of three volumes of the Announced Moves compilations for Pokémon Battle Revolution. These are the first complete and ORIGINAL compilations of the announced moves on YouTube.

All three of these compilations will display all of the moves that the announcer in Pokémon Battle Revolution makes some sort of comment about. He says some pretty interesting things about each move. Feel free to discuss any moves that you've never heard the opponent comment about, as well as your favorite ones.

The moves are in the order that they are in within Diamond/Pearl/Platinum's coding (or reverse order, depending on how you look at it). A majority of the moves were performed on random junk, event, or low-leveled, Pokémon found in different boxes of my Pearl game.

I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning, but I remember seeing a pokemon use Hydor Cannon under Sunlight and the announcer said something along the lines of " Hit by ?Hydro Cannon but it was weakened by the sun's rays."

Yeah, I happened to come across that a few times. I wasn't sure if that was worth mentioning or not either, but, ultimately, I left those comments off.

I agree completely. Too bad it's such an inaccurate and overall unrecommended move; I wouldn't mind seeing that animation more often.

What makes him say "slammed by focus punch"? Even when a Pokemon gets KO'd I never hear it. Maybe it has to be at full HP?..

Oh, I forgot to note this in the description: it took over 30 minutes to film that clip of Focus Punch. You're right; the announcer doesn't say it every time.

I noticed that he'll only say it if he doesn't say anything between the charge of Focus Punch and when it actually hits.

This is awesome. I enjoy watching these since there are some moves I have never heard the announcer talk about before. That man went through so much trouble recording all of those lines. It's the least we can do to listen to them all.

i was starting to do something like this, but my game stopped working. I only got like 15 moves in. I'm not uploading it though, for a few good reasons

- I want to not break the movie into parts

- I intend on doing a reverse version of my montage after i'm done

and

- I believe you would accuse me of ripping you off {my rampardos is also called Bullet}
