At the beginning, Grandmother Grazia nurtured and realized her dream with the creation of a large
gifted musical family.

Grazia's dream would outlive her, but the legacy continues with the emergence of a great talent, her granddaughter,
known as Alessia. Born in Brooklyn, New York, into her strictly traditional, music loving, Italian-American family, Alessia was instinctively aware of the power of music in expressing her innermost emotions.

Under the direction of her father, Armando, the highly acclaimed singer/songwriter and classically trained musician,
she cultivated an informed and intense appreciation of a broad spectrum of musical styles, with a firm emphasis on
Blues, Soul and '70's Rock.

Effectively tutoring her in the works of the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Stevie Wonder, and the Doobie Brothers,
she came to the realization that music could be celebrated within a genre and yet allowed divergent individual
expression.

This revelation would free her to experiment within the music she had come to know and love and give her
free rein to develop and define a personal interpretation of it in her song writing.

Furthermore, years of observing family band rehearsals and public appearances provide the fertile learning
environment in gaining insight into the creative process and successful performance skills.

She diligently traveled the musical highway, and has learned well-so well, that one is not prepared to witness this endearingly sweet and respectful thirteen year old assume the stage, as she did at such places like the "Bitter End"
In NYC, and transformed into a veritable Dynamo.

At ease in the spotlight, her performance reveals the perfect combining of diverse musical styles she has mastered,
while staying true to the spirit and artistry so reminiscent of her idols, Ella Fitzgerald, Janis Joplin, Etta James and
Billie Holiday.

Depression Blues, Southern Soul, 70's Rock and American Jazz, sensitively expressed together through her unique
musical vision which speaks to the bittersweet experience of pain and joy, of doubt and hope, with the fierce
passion that deeply moves and gives voice to those who identify with her.

It's all here: the vocal clarity of Ella, the gritty angst of Janis, the boldness of Etta, and the heart-rending
sadness of Billie.

It's all here; yes-but channeled through the sound that is Alessia's.

She is a diva in the making-come, listen, and make the journey with her.

Grandmother Grazia must be watching, and would certainly approve.
