TheOutside Ep.9 Fearless Part 1

--Nick's POV
Kevin dropped me off at The Oak resturant. I was extremely relieved to get out the car... he'd been singing ten green bottles the entire way, and playing stupid sing-along songs on the radio. "Dude, what are you, 5?" I'd asked. "Yes." He'd replied. I have no idea whatsoever about what goes on in his head. I walked into the foyer of the resturant and was shown to the table Shannon had reserved for me and Kristina. I waited for a minute... then she came in. She looked beautiful... her blue top had a tule overlay and was all shiny and sequinned. Her hair was pinned and curled in the exact way Shannon's had been and she was wearing Shannon's shoes [yeah, I'm a guy but I notice these things, ok!] so I guess this was Shannon's handiwork. I didn't even speak when she sat down. I tried to think of something to say... the diabetes tag round my neck moved slighty. "Hey sugar" I said, thinking of diabetes... omg. Why did I say that? Am I just gonna make a fool of myself all night- oh, it was ok, she was giggling. Relax Nicholas,I thought to myself. "You look amazing," I said. Well, it was less lame then the sugar comment....
--Kristina's POV
Dallas, Shannon's sister dropped me of at The Oak resturant, she was soo cool i loved talking to her, So thats all we did on the way there. " You look very beautiful Kristina, i should be giving Shannon more credit " she laughed and i joined in. " Thank you " i said as i smiled. A few minutes later we arrived.I accually did like what i was wearing. It felt alittle too girly but in a way it made me feel pretty and thats how i wanted to feel whenever i was around Nick. We arrived and i got out of Dallas's car " Thanks for the ride Dallas " i said and then a smile followed. " Anytime Kristina You better get to your date, dont want to keep him waiting" she winked at me then laughed. "Okay bye Dallas I'll call you if i need a ride home" i said and laughed alittle. "Okeedokee" she said before driving away, i waved then walked inside the resturant. I looked around for Nick then i saw him sitting there at a table looking adorable in a purple button up shirt with black dress pants.He looks hot how can i resist? i was about to laugh at my thoughts but then i reached the table and sat down."Hey Sugar" he said to me, I thought it was cute so i giggled.Then i was trying to think of something to say to him.. you look hot? no.. but then he spoke "You look amazing" i giggled again and blushed then finally something came out of my mouth. "Thanks, you dont look to bad yourself" i said then smiled."why thank you" he winked at me then smiled. I could'nt believe i was accually here with him!i sighed "whats wrong?" he said i didnt realise i accually did sigh, so i laughed nervously " i just can't believe im accually here, with you".He smiled then took my hand into his" I'd be pretty miserable if you weren't the one sitting infront of me" he said then smiled,Awe! I honestly couldn't believe he was saying all this to me. It was litterly like a dream come true! "So what do you say we order?" he said as he smiled again. He did alot of that and again i was about to laugh but held it in. "Ready when you are" i said and smiled again.
--Nicks POV
I couldn't stop smileing the whole time, i was just soo happy to see her. Then when she said that she couldn't believe she was here with me.That made me smile alot. I had to say the truth, "I'd be pretty miserable if you weren't the one sitting infront of me" i said and then smiled again,i wondered if that was getting annoying.It got silent for a moment then i saw the waiter make her way to our table."So what do you say we order? "i said and i smiled again,even i was getting alittle bit annoyed with that. Then she spoke,"Ready when you are"and she smiled.I dont think i'd ever get sick of hersmile.The waiter was at our table "What can i get you guys?"she said."Uhm, The house special please" I just picked something random off the menu "i'll have the same but a salad too please" She said "I'll get right on that" the waiter said as she walked away. I waited till she was gone to ask her a question i've wanted to know for like ever! "Why didn't you write me when you moved?"i asked hopeing it wasn't to personal for her to answer. "Umm.. i thought it would be easier for me... if i would've called you i would've missed you more." Thats a pretty understandable answer,i thought to myself. I probally would've felt the same way "When did you start dating Niki? Unless you're still dating her now,if you are thats just"she paused so i continued her sentence "Akward?" she smiled at me "exacally" i laughed hopeing to make the conversation more casual.
