@TrChSpHa I agree. I think that the last broadway cast that had Adam Kantor and Will Chase as Mark and Roger was just as good as Adam and Anthony. Not better. Just as good. No what Im sayin?

aaron tveit: yes, yes, and YES.
-
aaron tveit's vocals are fluid, forward sounding, and crisp...
skylar has a good voice, but i think there are other roles better suited for him

i agree with the commnts about how it not being right for such a huge arena. the intimate setting of a theatre is definitely better but for those of us who live in California and did not have the opportunity to see it in NY or on Tour this was AWESOME! especially as someone who is a HUGE skylar astin and aaron tveit fan this totally rocked.

@spacexhopper Gonna be honest...saw the original cast...there are better. Especially better than Adam. Who i LOVE in general. But as Roger...there are better rogers.
-
@TheRayRogersShow hate seeing it live on in this monstrosity though =/

@TrChSpHa Well yes I suppose they could be as good but the only reason I hold on to them as being the best, not only because they were the original cast but because they originated these roles. They made them completely their own and all the others, although they do play them slightly different, really do have some of what anthony and adam made on their own. with JL of course.

I've only been watching videos, since I'm kind of in Australia, and I'm happy that there are atleast most of the cast members are talented enough to mask Vanessa's poor performance (in my opinions, she did terribly...judging by the videos)
skylar!!!! :)

Skylar, as always, you're awesome. Always my favorite. Tracie was a pleasent surprise as well! aaron is also pretty good; most of the cast choices were spot-on (Vanessa was SO not right for this role.)
I agree, I almost hate seeing it on this HUGE stage...hearing that big of a echo almost...kiils the theater expierence. How could you connect with the story if you can barely see the actors or have to rely on a projection screen? That's well and good for concerts, but not for theater =/
