Beginning the 8th of the 10th week of flowering. Just have one or two nutrient feedings left before flushing. The buds are looking pretty ripe and the leaves are showing that the plant is reaching the end of it's lifecycle. I'm keeping an eye on the tri-chromes to harvest at the peak time w/ a 30x microscope. I had to harvest one plant a little early due to possible a badly times neem oil treatment, not being able to hand the nutrients as well as the other plants, or possibly something else.

  • know its old video , like the setup.... good shit... do you think that the blue veg lights are needed or would be worth while getting??

  • @SuperCAKEBOSS123 No worries, I don't think pure blue lights are necessary, the Veg lights do just fine on their own and have more light spectrums. I hear they can be useful for early veg, but i don't think its vital vs. the regular lights

  • did you get any bugs and pests on your plants with the LED grow?

  • @michealjohnedmondson You get most of your bugs by using soil, and I use soil-less mediums. However, I did get some spider mites when the humidity got too low with high temps during the summer, but the lights weren't a factor.

  • @MrKeithStoned Oh ok, so what do you think is the best way to keep the temp high while working with LED lights, to prevent bugs and spider mites? and are the bugs just around the pot area? Im pretty much concerned with stealth

  • @michealjohnedmondson You don't need to worry about bringing the temp during the light cycle, but you might want a space heater for the dark periods during the wintertime (probably not necessary). You should be fine as long as the temps are above 65. Insect prevention mostly revolves around keeping a clean grow area, and for spider mites, just make sure your humidity is above 40% and temps are not too high.

  • @SuperCAKEBOSS123 thank you so much for your time and help.. your insight is highly respected by me and greatly apppreciated.. these darn leds are better way to go its just a tricky investment

  • @MrKeithStoned thanks insite greatly appreciated... are those actually 90w ufos? bc im actually looking to go with advanced for my leds... as for the 120 watt ufos would you happen to know what the actual power draw is or if the 120s are actually 90s just mislabeled? I know theres alot of mislabels and misadveetising so im just trying to be careful with my investment ... i was thinking of grabbing up a bunch of those 120s if there legit...
