I have owned a Mac for over 6 years, we have windows based computers at home as well, but the macs (now we have 2 mac minis, 1 macbook, one windows based laptop and two windows based desktops) and the macs have never given me any problems. I have never taken my macs for repairs while the windows based machines seem to go in at least once a year. If I could afford them, I would own nothing but macs.
