Why there aren't combat systems like gothic's one anymore?

@SaucisseMerguez sir you are the noob here... hes using the basic knowledge that even a weapon with not sufficient damage to breach the armor does 5 damage to the opponent when hit...

humanoids/skelletons are vulnerable when begin to swing the weapon. when you time your attacks right you can interrupt nearly all attacks of the opponent.
but on the other side, the orc will kill you with 2 hits;)

Cheater boosted his strengh, you cant kill an orc on the starting stats, the orc wouldnt lose any health especially with that weapon. Nice try noob.
