at :27 she says breath taking, so i was being cynical by asking BREATH TAKING?.... well maybe my park avenue ultra 1994 is!, because its probably the only one turned into an art car!

admittedly it does have a bland american look, and the ultra park ave was buick's attempt to compete with Cadillac, but they never have gone as far as Cadillac as to making an american luxury car... i would say the Lucerne is the park ave replacement as Park Aves were stopped in 2005, and now as the times change the chinese GM started making one in 2007! regal has a similar story, but sometimes its just the name change, the 3.8 has been standard, mine has a super charger

@glorp896 oh i think you misunderstood me, as i usually love us-american cars - i drive one..... but i don't like this one that much, cause there is a euro version of the park avenue on the market, too, and this one looks really ugly, as it has other taillamps, headlamps, smaller engine and and and....

the 3.8 is a standard and VERY successful engine for many of the buick brand - virtually guaranteed 200,000 miles and easily 250,000 miles if you do all the maintenance... i've heard of 300,000 plus miles on them before overhaul or replacement...

it actually is an underrated brand, buick has been a most reliable car year after year according to JD Power and Associates... beating out expensive germans and japs... and notice which brands of GM survived... it was a no brainer to me that buick would... i like mine a bunch and i have one of the rare ULTRA versions... but it doesn't have some breath taking look, kind of bland - a lambo can be breathtaking... or maybe a rolls - to see a 1949 VW would be breath taking for me
