Listen to the crowd !.. this caller is fantastic as well. I would definitely support a Breeders Cup In Europe. They certainly have the love and passion for the Great Sport as we do. I wish we could have another Breeders Cup up here at Woodbine, with our World Class Turf Course.
I personally think that the World Thoroughbred Championships i.e. the Breeder's Cup needs to go international. Its a shame that our European extended family have to make the journey. IMO, thoroughbred racing is global and we, speaking of our BC committee needs to be proactive and make it a great day at the races....the emphasis on GLOBAL!!
I don't think anyone logically could question the greatness of Sea The Stars. But now that he's in retirement, standing stud. I'd just love to see the Cavalryman that we saw win the Prix Machem, Grand Prix De Paris, Prix Niel, and run a fantastic 3rd place finish to STS and Youmzain in this race show up again in 2010. I thought Cavalryman would really become something special as a 4yr.old. But he's regressed badly since being sold to Godolphin. He hasn't finished better than 5th in 2010.
Great great horse, No questions asked... He will go down as one of the greatest! Would have loved to see him against the mighty Nijinsky and Dancing Brave
Even if you refine your question to say who's best on what surface and what distance, all you can really do is debate and make all kinds of arguments for your favorite horse. No one can say for sure because they will never race each other. The shame of it is that they are close enough in age that they could all have been in the same race. What a race that would have been.

why don't the USA based Top horses come over to Europe for the big Group 1 races (Classics) - why do we (Europeans) have to travel to USA??
