  • BTW, they are 100 ton stones. The large sandstones weigh between 20-50tons, and the blue stones a modest 5 tons each. As for trying to spoil the mystery, I disagree. These tantalising clues coming out only increase the mystery & majesty of this site, and we are putting flesh on those bones of our ancestors, therefore showing them due reverence. We do them a disservice by living in darkness and ignorance.

  • @streetcat93 Stonehenge is a complex beast & not one thing or another. It evolved over a thousand years, but you know what the constant is? One of the things that scientists CAN say for certain ... There are hundreds of human cremated remains in and around Stonehenge. From radiocarbon dating, we can say that burials started around 3000bc and even continued up until and after Stonehenge lay abandoned. What do we do to commemorate the dead today? We put up a grave marker in stone!

  • oh sure, they carried 100 ton stons just to mark a grave... bullshit, there is more too them then that, all these people are doing is trying to fabricate stories to destroy mysteries one by one, im sure the grave idea would have been accepted as true by now if it infact was.

  • the celtic gods put them there = pagans believe in truth .

  • lol arguing on youtube

  • @sonofherne "Weve enough tossers in this world" sounds like a bitter man echoing the words of his mother and father to him

    :)

  • @sweetypie000 You just showed your level of maturity. I'm so sorry, but I was unaware I was talking to a kid. I apologise for calling you a chav. You're just a little kid who needs to go back to the classroom. Probably needed to be breast fed. Before you go ranting on about all the unfairness of things do make sure youre fully aware of the facts. It's saves you getting a lot of egg on your face & looking like a total loser. When you do grow up don't procreate. Weve enough tossers in this world.

  • @sonofherne what's with all the bum biting ? fag !

  • @tsuzukirose .There are 2 burials from it on display in Salisbury museum. I personally saw archaeologists open an Aubrey hole and removed cremated remains of a number of individuals. The finds are well documented. Yes, it marks the solstices but they wouldn't really need a calendar--they were already farmers; if they hadn't known when to plant already, they would have been stuffed!

  • @sweetypie000 .Yeah, & I bet you you're the type who'd like to run all over over it, since you obviously don't understand or know anything about it! Glad the admission keeps chavs like you out! Hey, you said earlier you thought it was only a medieval barn...so why do you care about going in? Btw, the ROAD -ROFL!-what a fool...both roads have been there for CENTURIES! one was the Harroway, a prehistoric track! You wouldn't know sacred if it bit your bum!
