I agree with you. Oscar most probably wold have been Bi-sexual. Poor oscar ! He was born during the wrong era ! Today we see same sex marriages in England. Look at Elton John and his partner ! They got front row seats at Prince William's wedding !

Look at Boy George .He can openly parade in a skirt in public. ! Oscar would have been totally well off had he been born in the 21st Century !

I think its pretty safe to say - uncomfortable as it makes us - that Wilde was gay

The pressure for gay men to marry and have children and their affinity with women as friends is a much more plausible reason for his close relationship with Constance

But no - he was actually straight yes defnitely - or bi - but more likely straight with artistic rebellious tendencies but no not toally gay god forbid
