I agree that many people do pray as an excuse to do nothing, and they do think that prayer alone will help as well. The problem is that there really are not a million hands helping by themselves. If the million hands show up, it is usually because God has willed it and it is usually because someone prayed for the million hands. You only saw the million hands, you did not hear the prayer.
