@srpope80 What is venturi carbs really?

@MrRikylove No, that area is supposed to be dry. The oil pump pushes oil straight to the carbs..... I pulled my oil pump and no premix my oil with the gas.

In your earlier video did you buy a rebuilt crank or did you just have the crank case cleaned. I am about to under take this project on my 1996 1100zxi but am concerned about the crank. Also any chance you could provide a parts list and where you got them from.

@Malcocer33 I used the same crank, it was definitely good. Checked all the spec play in the bearings, etc... I used a company call Full Bore to bore the cylinders, and purchased the pistons, rings, etc, from them. I had a good experience. As far as parts, I bought Wiseco pistons from them, and they matched them to the newer spec of the bore....

Thank you for the reply,. one more thing I will like to ask before I put the engine back inn: Im going to remove the oil pump and premix the gas, I just orter a oil pump block off kit" and it comes with the 3 plugs for the carbs houses. IS ANY OTHER HOUSES I NEED TO PLUG? ANY TIPS ON THIS APLICATION? THANK YOU.

@MrRikylove No, the block off kit is pretty simple. Remove oil pump, place 3 caps on the carb oil inlets, and put the block off plate where the pump used to be.
Make sure you mix correct ratio for your engine/temperature and if you're rebuilding, make sure you rebuild the carbs!!! If one leans out on you, they will kill your cylinder...
