I was my gradndaddy's favorite of 27 grandchildren. He would allow me to go in to his vegetable garden. I watched him milk his cow. He nicknamed me Snake in the Grass..Snake for short...and I was a girl! I thought he hung the moon. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I got mine from him. He was my special person on Earth.

Its been 30 years since my Grampa died and I still miss Him everyday.My oldest son is named after Him. He will soon be 24. Thank GOD for all th old school values I learned from Him. I have passed them along to my 2 Sons...

My granddaddy passed just this morning and I was the apple of his eye. I never did any wrong, ever, and my sister hated that I was so perfect. I miss the man more than I could ever say.

This reminds me of my great grandfather. He had Alzheimers, and probably didn't know who I was, but he acted like he loved me, and I loved him. He was 98, I believe, when he died. And I cried when he died.

My Pop-Pop was the most wonderful man in the world. He had the best laugh you ever heard! I miss him all the time even though he's been gone for more than 30 years. This song always makes me think of him. Thank you, Randy!

My father had Lung cancer, and oh how cruel that illness is! And I'm so sorry about your Pap. I really hope and pray he pulls through this. Just cherish all the time you have, because really any day could be the last. :)
