I just bought an exhaust and will try to change it also :-)

I just bought a second exhaust to change (and keep the original in 1 piece). Is yours still working like it should?

Sounds great! Did you have to wrap the 3A muffler to bring the diamiter up to the right size to fit the ID. of the stock muffler housing. if so what did you use? Did the baffel remove easily from the stock muffler housing?

Great Idea and video! The new muffler is held in by rivets? Where do you place the rivets? Do you have a site to see the process done from start to finish to refer to? Thanks for the help...this would be my first exhaust mod.

I went ahead and did mine like your. I really really like the sound. Especially when I play with the manual shifting. Thanks for the video

Sounds great. Is your Burgman a 2008? Any lean running issues? Can the baffle be removed by unscrewing the muffler end cap, or what exactly has to be sawed? Thanks for any assistance.

Mine is a 2007. I have not sensed any issues with the bike running lean or out of the ordinary at all. The end cap is nothing more than a decoration, the whole muffler is welded. I cut about 1/2" in front of the weld at the end of the muffler. I didn't cut through like cutting a cake, rather I went around the muffler with the saw just cutting through the outer layer. Hop this helps.

It's going to be held in by rivets. I should have it completed this weekend. It is a very smooth deep sound and not overdone at all. The performance is definitely a bit snappier. No down side on fuel economy either. Listen to the sound with some good headphones, it will give you a better idea as to the low end. Thanks for the comment.
