Highlights of the 1956 Italian Grand Prix at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Lombardy. This video was produced by the British Petroleum Company, commentary by Nevil Lloyd. The combined Monza circuit was not used again for Formula One until 1960 and 1961.

Is there anyway to get the aspect ratio of the video back to the correct? It looks like the original was stretched and distorted into a 16:9 format.

Look at de Portago (No. 30) creeping up at the start. A bit more and he would started from pole, lol.
And even with all of that rolling he still has a HORRIBLE start.
