Great job, Mark. Let us know if you regain any of the 9 you lost on the liquid diet. I wonder if that many lbs lost actually sticks. I am thinking of doing the liquid diet thing for my one year anniversary in June.

My hubby wants the sleeve, too. My insurance also says it is not an approved surgery, so he feels he is being forced into bypass. What liver issues do you have that led to approval? HIs dad died of cirrosis.

Mark! You have done amazingly well. Did you ever imagine a year ago that you could lose this much weight this fast? You are a role model to all of us out here; pre-ops as well as post-ops.

I never imagined that I'd be at this weight or feel this good a year ago. I dreamed of it...but I never thought it would happen this fast!! thank you so much for your kind words...me?? a role model?? if my high school guidance counselor could see me now! =)

Great update, and I am glad you are doing so well!
I am 4 months into my 6 month insurance wait time. Estimated surgery date of mid-June for me.
Did you have sleep apnea before your suregery?

I did, but could not use the CPAP machine. I just couldn't get used to it. Thanks for watching and for your support. you'll be on the loser's bench in no time!!!!
