i just bought the old model but thinking of returning them for the new ones in vented. Is the Fit the same on the new ones just more comfortable and lighter?

How would you compare these boots to the Dainese TRQ Race Out when it comes to cost/protection/ bang for the buck?

@ghostfacetron Both are great track boots or for aggressive street riding. Tough to choose between the two top manufacturers out there!

Oh my... Just bought a 2010 smx plus on a closeout without realising that they've redesigned for the better! Bummer.

Just got a vented/ perforated pair of these and they are just beautiful. So light and less bulky when compared to the previous model SMX Plus and Sidi boots. Never was a big fan of Alpinestars, but I have to give credit where it is due on these.
