POLICE STATE: SWAT Team Attacks Occupy Oakland 11/2/2011

I followed a SWAT Team dressed in full riot gear as they kettled protestors in Frank Ogawa/Oscar Grant Plaza. They descended armed & firing tear gas, flash bangs, & rubber bullets.

After police from many different bay area agencies had cleared out & arrested a group of self proclaimed anarchists who had occupied a foreclosed building. A massive SWAT team moved in & attacked the nonviolent protestors, the homeless, & the disabled who remained in the plaza.

So I saw a video, that had people throwing flaming shoes at cop cars. They were also wearing Scarfs, and bandannas to cover most of their face. There was a big fire in the middle of street. I honestly think that this is an appropriate response to such actions. I think the Occupy movement is getting out of hand.(example) I live in Oregon, and people were throwing Molotov Cocktails at banks, and at police riot squads. The police responded with the same as this video.
