Follow your passion? Do what you love? Next time your rent or mortgage is due, try paying it with PASSION. Passion doesn't pay the bills! For PASSION to work, it has to translate into money. To make the translation, you need to do the one thing that most people ignore.

The word PASSION is quite often overused and to some extent, overrated. How often we hear, "Oh this is my passion" passion this and passion that, blah blah blah! Some one's passion can just be some hobby that nobody cares for. For me personally the only time I think the word passion makes sense is being a parent to my 4 year old daughter. Otherwise, when it comes to making money I will create products and services that is innovative and will add significant value to my family, me, and others.

A lot of Artists are passionate about what they do, and that's why they are called "Starving Artists."

It doesn't matter if how passionate you are if the market doesn't need or want what you're selling. The end.

Passion can translate into money as long as it is someone elses passion who works for you and is good at the work while you handle the business. My passion might not translate into money, but someone elses could. A dating coach is passionate, and there is a lot of demand. Someone who likes to work out is passionate, and there is demand as well. It's just that entrepreneurs are different. They are strategists who pursue money while others would rather work and be safe in their terms.
