John McCain is running hard on his status as a vet, but what has he done for the rest of us disabled vets?

I don't think you could remotely compare McCain with say democrats like John Murtha who had wrongly charged our Marines with murder. I don't blame McCain for not supporting Web's version of the bill. This film does not point out the other side of that. Cheat political hack job. A vet done this? Was he a Taliban vet?

I am a Viet Nam Era Vet, as is McCain. Sure, there are differences between he and I on why we went to war over in Nam and sure there are differences between he and I regarding the outcome BUT to say on nationwide TV that he knows the Vets know that he will care for us, well that is plain HORSESHIT! His record is a boatanchor around him that he can NOT hide from. John McCain does NOT support us!

He always talks a great game and then, when the cameras and the crowds are gone, McCain votes against vets each time. meanwhile, he still gets his 68,000.00/yr is disability and 22,000.00 in social security, on top of the 200-300,000 senator salary, the lobbyist money (23 million/yr) and then there's his wife's 132 million dollar fortune. But, hey, you vets, there isn't the budget for your health care. What??? It's an outrageous SHAME what the GOP does to vets.

As the widow of a 100% disabled vet for 25 years, I can tell you that ever since the early 1980s, Repubs have repeatedly removed vets' programs, and Dems have repeatedly put them back. But vets refuse to believe it.  Vets need to learn who is on their side. For one example, Sen. Barb Mikulski (D-MD) is the staunchest ally vets have, but nobody knows it b/c she doesn't ever promote how much she does.
