What state are you in? The price was not bad. In NY the cost is about $4400, thats for 15 - 18 months treatment (up to 36 months total orthodontic care)

HA! I hate braces! I get mine off in 4 weeks!! Yipee It's been 2 years and 3 months so far, time has flown by though. I ended up getting an abcess tooth from them! and I once had a nightmare that they took the braces off and all my teeth fell out.

I'm getting In-Ovation R. I was wondering is it possible to get colored ligatures even though they are self ligating and there is no need of ligatures due to they have a clip to hold the wires in. But do you know if you are aloud.

It's an illusion, not an ounce has come off...it's all the mashed potatoes. :) I thought I would, since other vloggers said they did but hasn't happened...maybe after the adjustments...I am hopeful!

My cost for In-Ovation C is $3750. That's the whole shebang- 2 sets of retainers, 2 replacement brackets if I break them, and supplies like wax as needed. Comparably, Invisalign was $6000 and would have taken double the time. If I got regular metal brackets, it would have been even cheaper, around $3500, and the timing would be the same- around a year. Obviously, I got different prices from different orthos that I did consults with.

Thank you for answering my question! I'm assuming that you're paying out of pocket, so were any of the orthodontists you consulted with we willing to knock off a few dollars because you were paying with your own money? Or was that never an option?

The doctor I chose offered a discount in conjunction with my health coverage but it only amounted to a couple hundred. Other than that, one place offered a discount on a sliding scale if you paid in full up front.
