  • because modern culture denies existence of spirit and soul , and Gogol brings it back to the audience, thats why is so popular.

That is why he doesnt like existentialism.

Haha. I think that just depends on what your take on existentialism is. There are many writers of that kind that clearly advocate how people can reach their full potential of their life. Also, authors who are usually considered as a "existentialist" have braod differences amongst themselves and their writing, some standing for the existence of God and souls, some denying it completly. To each, it's own I suppose. It's a very subjective philosophy to say the least.

  • @35TCK You can be a big fan of writers, but never bring their word into your life. He clearly states his approach to existentialism ( at least the pessimistic side of it) in this interview. Although he mentioned decay of the world, he doesn’t leave us vulnerable to it. I would rather see the traces of other philosophy in his words, a massive appreciation of humans ability and power to do things ;))

  • @1000zielona He doesn't like existentialism?

I though he was a rather big fan of Kafka and other writers of that ilk?

  • @2405efrapix stamina is energy to last a long time, to keep going.

  • That man is tuned in. lots of new music has that same general tone of "wow, things are desperately shitty now, it's bigger than us, just make your lives count, have fun when you can, hang on to your magic."

  • I want to have at least one good interview with Balkan Beat Box band on youtube. Because there music syle are quite special too.

  • I have never heard modern music compared with shamanism before but now that I think of the energies going on at concerts, it definitely makes sense.

  • I would actually like to hear more about why Eugene hates existentialism.

  • what means stamena?
