  • is this phone hard to text on if you don't have skinny fingers?

  • For people who often "fat finger" things it is usually best to turn the phone on it's side or select the "phone keypad" keyboard

but for the most part it can figure out what you are trying to type.

although phones with bigger screens are easier to type on (iphone, nexus one, desire) but i dont think you'll miss having a physical keyboard unless youre trying to drive and text

  • Does this phone have the same apps that the droid has?

  • For the most part yes, but there is some apps the moto has, but that will change if the eris gets the 2.1 update

  • Yes the trackball sinks in because you press it to make a selection

  • how do I remove apps from this phone? I just got it last night, and can't figure out...much less find information on it!

  • go to the market and on the main page of the of the market press the "my downloads" tab at the bottom, then go to the app you want to remove and there is an uninstall tab

  • i really really want this phone, but i'm not sure if its good or not. it seems like one of those phones that would have a lot of glitches on it.

  • @thefetusking turn off your sound. or mute the video. duh.

  • totally agree! i love my eris! great phonee

  • I would actually think that this particular phone would be better than most touch screens for typing. Reason being is the Droid Eris has a capacitive touchscreen like the iPhone, which senses the electricity in your fingers, thus stopping you from having to push down on the screen for it to register a touch, adding more accuracy.

  • Typing on this phone is actually easy for men with large fingures. I have the Eris which I upgraded from the Omnia. The leather case that I bought from Verizon actually makes it harder to text by getting in the way of the side letters. Other than that I have no issues. I did have a Omnia lol so pretty much this thing is a great

  • i can't wait to get this phone! the spelling suggestion looks like it could get annoying but it would be useful so i could handle that. It looks so easy to use.
