@battousaiblade You can't work a horse for their whole life, they'll die sooner. At one point, people need to give the horses a rest. That's what theses racehorses are doing. They're visited often and, of course, loved and cared for. They worked very hard earlier in life, and need to take a break. It's kind of like people. Nobody can keep their job for their whole life. So, they quit their jobs when they get old. They then spend the rest of their lives resting and having fun without working.

thats cool you took all these retired racehorses
i have been there and toured the entire proprety many times. my personal favorite is popcorn delights. we went out there in the early morning and i got to help feed him. i also love the adorable mini that the owners daughter saved off a slaughter truck. HE PLAYS SOCCER!!! old friends is the only place know in KY to take in non-gelded stallions because they have to have their own feild but it is a wonderful place and i have donated some good money to help them!!

Nice video. :) It's good to see people taking the initiative and taking care of retires horses. The world needs more people like that. Horses work hard for us, and they deserve to be treated like kings when their career is over. Slaughter is not the right answer.
