SB305: You're probably already a felon if you've touched US Currency

SB305, now before the Ohio House, is on a fast track schedule to the Governor. This bill makes it a felony to have a container or hidden compartment in your vehicle that has drug residue. Since drug residue is undefined one must assume any commonly available drug residue field test kit available to police officers would satisfy an arrest.

The fact is, virtually every bill in United States currency is contaminated with drug residue that eventually finds its way into a gun safe -- or as this video shows, two of them.

Thanks for posting this! One has to wonder WHY any "lawmaker" would even consider such a bill? It isn't about catching someone with drugs IMO...it's another step down the road of lost rights and less freedom in this country.

I don't even believe that drugs should be illegal. No black market no crime.

If a person drives impaired, robs or kills to get a substance then they should be punished and forced into treatment. The act of possessing or using a substance is not a crime in itself. When a person harms or endangers others however...

Regulations do little. There are many ways to launder cash. Point is they are going after the users and people carrying cash and not the hubs of transaction.
