@CookiesRockMyPlates, absolutely! I've done a lot of experimenting, and my dogs do much better in winter with booties. My favorites are just simple fleece sacks secured with Velcro at the top. They don't especially like putting them on, but, without them, they often refuse to walk for any length of time.

@alaskayorkie Can you train these teacup yorkies to not bark so much? Perhaps by saying 'no barking' I need to know because I live in an apartment. Also how is transportation, potty training and crate training?? Thanks.

@fireworks7310, that was Jack, a rescue who was a legend on the Yorkie forums ;) 13 years old when he died, and he loved his winter walks to the very end.

@MultiCris2000, thanks for the kind words. Jack was 13 and had an attack last year that affected his brain. He pretty much died in my arms as we were arriving at the dog meetup. He was so excited to see his friends. :)
