He hooked up w/ the unifiers of the country yet HE was the wisest. BTW I figured that Tokugawa could have won w/o his help bc he had 30k troops that hadn't been commited to the battle yet. Kobayakawa had 15.6k troops+another 4.4k which switched sides. All props go to Stephen Turnbull...he's the man.

Kobayakawa looks silly! Kinda like a girl. Please! Even though he was only he fought for years in the Korean campaign so he was well battle seasoned. He was a Daimyo who commanded troops. He was smart & he didn't like Mitsunari. He made the decision to be on the winning side & help change history. Also, he had to have known Ieyasu's history of being a brilliant tactician. BTW 1st Ieyasu was w/ Imagawa against Nobunaga, then was his Ally, then fought against Hideyoshi, then became his Ally.

皮肉にもこの小早川が歴史に名を残すことになっちゃいましたね。
関ヶ原を語る上では外せない名前になりました。
短い生涯にしてはえらいやり逃げをしてくれたものです。
歴史っておもしろいですね^^

星一つになっていますが評価は五つです。短いながらよくまとまっていますね。しかし金吾に鉄砲を撃ちかけるなぞ家康にしかできない戦法だな。
