Scenery, people, and underwater footage of lakeshore cichlids. Video and stills of Likoma and Chizumulu islands on Lake Malawi from February 2008. A few shots from the southern part of the lake, then a whistle-stop tour on the MV Ilala up the Mozambique coast to Likoma then Chizumulu.

I really want to go see the lake, although I would want to see lake tanganyika more, Hopefully one of these days.

@awinski999 - about 700 metres, only around half the depth of Lake Tanganyika! There is not much oxygen below 200 metres, so fish life doesn't reach down this far, though there are fish found down to the limits of oxygen content.
