Perspectives of a Travel Blogger, Writer, and Photographer - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats.

I actually started traveling in 2006 when I decided to quit a very cushy corporate job and give up everything, sell everything and go on the road to go around the world. I thought I would come back after a year and kind of plug back in but I decided I loved being on the road so much and it really kind of helped me advance a bunch of hobbies and make them more professional that I decided to stay on the road and become a travel blogger, and writer, and photographer basically. So, I have been doing that now for about 5 years and have been to probably around 42 countries with a lot more on my list to see, there is never enough time. And my favorite way to travel when I do now travel is to go very slowly.

So, I normally like to get into a city or a country specifically for a whole month. If I can't spend a month there, I really don't want to take my time because that is how you dig in the best.
