  • @ironmonnkey15 That's where I caught my first wave. Right up from the Coral Casino in early 1964. We used wood scraps from building Bonnymede and make fires. There used to be a pier at the Biltmore. That's where we checked Hammonds. A magnificent estate there in those days. The pier was damaged in the '69 swell and later torn down. Don't surf around that area - all kinds of nasty stuff underwater. Stay south.

  • @clarkewi How is it selfish?

  • @lcascone86 Surfing is selfishness. But that's OK. It's healthy to be somewhat selfish. I know that times are tough in California compared to when I was a kid and NOBODY surfed "Little Rincon" because they were all at Rincon!!!!! Find your own island like Dora said. Incidently, these are cool little boards.

  • @kersez selfishness (i dont know if this word exists in english) has no place in surfer culture.

  • @lcascone86 'Cuz no one likes a crowded surf spot. If the sharks get one surfer a day, you'll have the waves to yourself in no time!

  • not only great to surf on but no huge dings a month into the board

  • nice vid, I take that saddamdontsurf is not a ride report, as he is not stoked for you getting shacked over on a homede hollow wood surfboard. How does she ride? Looks like she is a pretty resposive stick. Building a 9' hollow myself, its in my glassing booth waiting right now. Shoot me some pics, I'll check out yer site.

  • Bust off the quads and just use it as a twinfin. That boards a pig. To thick in the nose to deal with turbulence over the back fins. The rails are soft but it still tracks to much. Plus the guys not using it right . You cant use a screwdriver to hit a nail .

  • why did nobody tell them they were rounded by sharks??

  • the surf looks so fun that wipeout at the end was pretty funny great video:)
