Royersford VFW Fire April 11th, 2008

I was just chilling in my backyard with Kent and Carrick, and I absentmindedly glanced in the direction of my local VFW post, and what do you think i saw?

A FREAKING HUGE COLUMN OF THICK, BLACK SMOKE, THAT'S WHAT!

So I grabbed my camera and filmed the whole thing. Enjoy!

Haha, I was on Walnut street when I saw the smoke, so I jumped in my car and gunned it to the VFW and drove past before Upper Providence/Royersford cops came, and before Humane came...I was going to call my buddy that runs with Liberty FC in Spring City, but they flew by me on the way back. Its funny Humane was the last there and their about 3 blocks over. Anyway, stupid kids, did they get in big trouble for that? The paper wouldnt say because their juveniles.

Yeah, one got charged with 3 felony counts. Arson, reckless endangerment, and something else.

I love how you can hear Liberty's house siren. An d i was at my friend's house this day in Phoenixville, we looked over the river at Royersford for a bit, then as we started to walk away, my friend turned back and in the 2 seconds that we looked away this huge column of smoke appeared. Oh and there was no explosion in this fire.

Did feel the same negative adrealine when the neighbourshouse burned down four minutes after the start of 2009... that was one shitty experience... Well good luck out there...
