@jasonito23 Prodigy (Mobb Deep): “Quiet Storm” was originally for my solo record. It got a lot of airplay before we commercially released it. We changed the plan and made it a Mobb Deep record. We needed a female element, and we got Kim. She wrote her verse right there in the studio. She did it quick. I didn’t touch it

@constanceaustininc I'm not saying a female can't write a hard verse. I'm sure MC Lyte, Lauryn Hill and Eve write their stuff. I'm just saying that lil Kim's verses aren't regularly as good as they are on this. With that said, she started her verse out with MC Lyte's "Hot damn hoe here we go again." Lil kim is not one of the best in the game. Where did I say a female can't write a hard verse? Where?
