Some or most of the CG footage is not captured via the method shown and some footage is not even motion capture. Seems like you just grabbed random CG scenes that might or might not have been generated via motion capture and stuck in the film.
Your completly right, the mocap footage shown is not how the productions were created. The reel is showing a mix of behind the scenes at Vicon House of Moves and a selection of the productions Vicon mocap has been used on.
