  • Your video is very interesting. Schopenhauer's outlook of music is beautiful. He describes music as a metaphysical knowledge which gives us an access to truth: which is the will. Moreover, I like when Schopenhauer says that when people are selfish they live in illusion because in reality we are all part of unity(buddhist philosophy), we are ONE. In consequence plurality is an illusion, Plurality is part of representation which make us seeing other people as different and dangerous for our will

  • @matego1988 Yes! totally. Thank you for completing this video. I also love those thought of shopenhauer! May you have a great day. We are one as you said XD

  • Good Video thanks. I'm reading this now for a class and the ideas are really interesting but hard to understand through Schopenhauer's complex sentences sometimes.

  • @quinatt1 Hehe, I think hes clear as crystal compared to Hegel, but still complex :)

  • @londonln I was reading for a basic philosophy class.

  • @quinatt1 What are you studying?

  • Quite good comments. Another POV is that modern man has been in an all out war with Will. One of the main goals of philosophy and mathematics and language is the subjugation of Will. Defining and dissecting Will in order to disconnect from it. The Will has been seen as evil from early christian times. In earlier times Will was seen and connected to as gods. The fields and forces of both nature and man were seen as Will ( with a personality ).

  • thanks man helpful video! peace
