This is what a great opening scene is meant to do: Introduce the character. This was perfect. A man on the edge; danger and silence all at once.

Most movies I see with my friends today are so boring, it's the usual cast of silent serious characters that look troubled through half of the film.
I miss movies like Goldeneye and Jurassic Park. where you actually remember the characters.
