These do not have 5.1. Megladon are the 5.1

How does the mic sound because I have heard from a lot of people that the mic sounds like total shit XD

Because this headset is basically the Razer Megalodon only it doesn't have lighting on the sides, 2.1/7.1 Surround Sound Toggling, and the Price is about a 60 Dollar difference.

So far I have nothing but praise. People in Ventrilo say I sound loud and clear, almost creepy in the room clear.

Sometimes, its the crappy built in audio cards that is the problem, and not the headset.

hi dude, recently while i was in a skype call my level of my sound....got lower...idk if this makes scense but even with my volume up all the way i cant hear you and when i am using my computer with my headset on i can barly hear anything do you know how to fix this?

Should I buy this headphone for my iPhone ?? I mainly will be using it for music but I have a gaming computer so I could swap anytime to use but is the mike removable ? As I do want to be walking in s public with a mic sticking out of my headphone . Any ideas ?

This headset 2.0, not 5.1 or 7.1 but you cant tell a difference. In fact, the sound quality is better than most 5.1 headsets. I had a 5.1 Plantronics Gamecom, and this one is actually better. Better bass, more comfortable, lighter, its just overall fantastic. 5/5
