It's Going To Be Okay - Season 2 Episode 2 Part 1

*Present day, Joe, Nick, Selena, Devin, Kevin and Danielle were having dinner in celebration of school ending for another year*
Selena: (Holding Devin) Congrats guys, another year done!
Nick: (Sighs) Finally.
Joe: Thanks, Sel.
Danielle: (Smiles) Im really happy for the two of you.
Kevin: So, Joe, given any thought to that offer?
Joe: (Nods) Ive thought about it, yes. But Im still not sure what I want to do.
Nick: I think youll regret not going.
Selena: Hes right.
Joe: Ill regret leaving you guys though. Its so far away.
Kevin: Theres only a couple states between Texas and California, Joe. Plus, it would only be for two years.
Danielle: And its not like you wouldnt be home on holidays and during the summer.
Joe: (Smiles) You guys are right. I think Im going to do this.
Selena: (Smiles too) Good. (Looks at Nick) And you know, we could make our camping trip into a road trip to California.
Nick: (Kisses Selena) Thats a great idea babe. All six of us are going.
Kevin: Nick, it that sounds good but--
Danielle: We all have work.
Selena: Oh, come on. You guys both deserve a vacation, its not like youve taken any time off in forever. If they deny you a couple of weeks then theyre not following labour laws.
Danielle: (Sighs) Thats true.
Kevin: (Smiles) Two weeks.
Joe: That sounds awesome. Have I ever mentioned how great all of you are?
Selena: (Sarcastically) No, never.
Joe: (Laughs) Well you are. Thanks for checking out Cali with me.
Nick: Our pleasure. And who knows, if we all like it enough, maybe well just have to move out there with you (Laughs) Just kidding.
Kevin: Thats not a bad idea actually, Nick. We have enough money to be able to get a bigger house out there. And I think its a good place to raise Devin. Danielle and I can get transfers and you two (referring to Joe and Nick) can pick up a couple of better paying jobs out there too, Im sure.
Joe: Whoa, lets take this one step at a time.
Selena: Its settled in three weeks, which gives you enough time to book off work, California here we come!
Devin: Calee Fonnaaa.
All: (Laugh)
Selena: (Kisses Devins forehead) Looks like hes excited too.
Nick: (Just smiles and stares at Selena and Devin)
Joe: (Smiles too) Nick, you are one lucky guy.
Nick: (Still staring at Selena and Devin) I know.
Joe: (Laughs) *FLASHBACK
*Joe: (Smiles) More than half way there, babe.
Demi: I know. Less than four more months and this baby will finally be out of me (Laughs) I cant wait.
Nick: Guys. Do you realize whats going to happen?
Selena: (Confused) What are you talking about Nick?
Nick: We are going to have another Demi to put up with soon.
Selena: (Hits him) Nick!
Demi: (Frowns) Im sorry.
Joe: (Looks at Demi) Hes right. We are going to have another wonderful, amazing, most beautiful little Demi enter our world. And there is nothing that I am more excited for.
Demi: (Laughs) You are ridiculous. Besides we dont even know what it is yet.
Nick: (Makes a puke noise) Thats true. And I am not sure ridiculous is the right word. BUT anyways.
Joe: Oh, it is going to be a girl. I just know it. We are going to have a girl, Dem.
Demi: (Nods her head, and smiles) Whatever you say, Joe.*
END OF FLASHBACK* (Frowns)
Kevin: (Notices Joes concentrated frown) Joe, you okay?
Joe: (Unresponsive, still think about Demi and the baby girl they wouldve have. She would have been almost three years old by now)
Kevin: (Worried, he reached over and shook Joes arm) Joe?
Joe: (Shakes his head) Oh, sorry. May I be excused?
All: (Worried) Of course.
Joe: (Stands up and goes upstairs to his bedroom. He sat on his bed and took the picture of him and Demi with their hands on her stomach, that was on his nightstand, and held it to his chest, hugging the frame. He then started to cry)

*In California, Demi and Mitchell were having dinner in David, Miley and Mitchells apartment, while David and Miley were out for the night*
Demi: (Smiles) I didnt know you could cook, its delicious Mitchell.
Mitchell: (Smiles back) Well I guess you really need to come over more often.
Demi: (Blushes) Well now that school is done, I imagine I will be able to.
Mitchell: (Takes her hand, still smiling at her, and looks into her eyes) I love you Dem.
Demi: (Still unable to say it back, she smiles and then kissed him)
Mitchell: (Deepens the kiss)
Demi: (Smiles through kiss)
Mitchell: (Pulls away) Do you want to maybe take this upstairs?
Demi: (A little worried because they have yet to be with one another, she unconfidently responds) Umm, yeah, sure.
Mitchell: (Stands up) We dont have to if you dont want to.
Demi: (Stands up and forces a smile) I want to. I want you.
