I'm gonna generalize when I say this, but I'm not gonna apologize for it either. Do you really think these ghetto hoodrats give a shit about actually picking up something useful in school, even if it was clean? They see school as one big joke. The bigger problem is that they embrace being ghetto trash. They'd trade in their high school diplomas for a pair of Jordans.

-_- yonkers is shitty period like in my school its prek-8 & we have NO extra ciriculums or any of that . What do we have ? GYM. not even gym we dont do sh*t but sit down and do w.e you want . We only have 2 classes for each grade. Not enough textbooks. & yeah, our teachers (some) are alright but we really cant get through ANYTHING in class. The state came to my school the other day and the school was really raggedy and sh*t & they said they might sh

Ah, good old Lincoln High. I once went there in the 80's for summer school, when the both the interior and exterior walls were totally *covered* in graffiti. These kids don't know how good they have it now.

And to the comment by IndianPrince04, I understand the perception you probably got from the video, but the ones you saw are only a very small portion of a school consisting of over 800 students. Priority should be toward education and there's students there who actually care about their education. Everyone interviewed here are generally freshmen, they don't even know what they're talking about. Lincoln has improved so much over the years.
