However, we follow the US Constitution, which was written in the age of enlightenment by mostly deists who added the establishment clause, which separates the church from the state. It is a secular government based on reason and legitimized by the people. "but when you guys got to america you gave the black people the freedom of speech" No they enslaved them and killed the natives because of the bible. again, learn english please.

@eddygoombah dude 95% of Americans are Christians do you think the 95% will bow to the 5%'s low?? think of it mate. people knew god by brain. go search on Google about some atheist book and read about American history. it's true that people left England because England was ruled by church but when you guys got to america you gave the black people the freedom of speech and the american indian the freedom as well. hahahahaha man true you gave freedom of speech to your self haha.
